The aim of the project is to lay the scientific groundwork for the resource-efficient synthesis of low-cost radiological contrast agents based on CDs. The ultimate goal of the project is to investigate the contrasting potential of novel CDs for use in computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) screenings.

The aim of the project is to develop scientific foundations of a resource-efficient technology for the production of photoactive materials based on semiconductor coatings modified by a pulsed ion beam. The project is aimed at the production of photoactive materials, including the synthesis of coatings and their pulse-beam modification.

The project focuses on asphaltene characterization, and screening chemicals for asphaltene deposition inhibition (or mitigation) for the Kazakhstan crude oils with flow assurance implications. The proposed research methodologies include experimental, modeling, and field testing.
